This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use PBDeploy, our managed PocketBase hosting service.

By using PBDeploy, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2) Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you register, we collect:

  • Name, email address, and account credentials
  • Organization or project information (if provided)

b) Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser/user-agent details
  • Log data (access, errors, resource usage)
  • Instance metadata (size, uptime, region, version)

c) Customer Data

When you deploy a PocketBase instance, you upload and manage your own data ("Customer Data").

We process this data only to operate and maintain your deployment. We do not access it for any other purpose.

d) Communications

If you contact us by email or support form, we collect and retain your correspondence to assist you and improve support.

3) How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the PBDeploy platform
  • Manage accounts and deliver requested features
  • Monitor performance, detect abuse, and ensure reliability
  • Send operational or security notifications
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

4) Data Storage and Transfers

Region: All instances and backups are hosted in us-east-1 (AWS).

Storage: Data and backups are stored in AWS S3.

Automatic backups: performed daily and retained for 7 days.

When an instance is deleted, the final automatic backup is retained for an additional 30 days before permanent removal.

Transfers: If you access PBDeploy from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other regions where our providers operate.

5) Data Retention

Account and billing records are retained as required by law.

Customer Data is deleted within 30 days after instance termination.

Backups are deleted automatically following their retention schedule.

6) Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted infrastructure and email providers:

These subprocessors handle only the data necessary to deliver PBDeploy and follow their own privacy and security policies.

7) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including restricted access, HTTPS encryption, and periodic backups.

However, no online system is entirely secure; you use PBDeploy at your own risk.

8) Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

9) Cookies and Tracking

PBDeploy uses minimal cookies.

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session security.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

You can opt out of non-essential messages anytime.

11) Data Controller

Ragondin Dev Inc. is the data controller for personal information collected through pbdeploy.com.

For Customer Data stored in deployed PocketBase instances, you (the customer) act as the data controller, and PBDeploy acts as a data processor.
